Autograph letter signed and autograph postcard signed, 3pp, 8vo and oblong 12mo, 120 Maida Vale, London and Varallo, Sesia, 13 April and 13 July 1921. Both to Glen Walton Blodgett, in the first sending Blodgett "a postcard [no longer present] from Butler to me which I hope will serve your purpose. But I beg that you will not tell anyone how you got it or I shall be having all those Butlerites, or Erewhonians of your creation writing for similar ones & I cannot do it. Say you found it between the leaves of a prayer-book the last time you went to church -- if that was since July 1894. Any lie will do. It is of course a great pleasure to me to hear of the number of his followers how they increase & multiply." In the later letter, Jones thanks Blodgett for his letter and says that he hopes that they will meet. Letter in very good condition; postcard slightly worn and soiled.
