Caligraphic holograph fair copy, signed ("Arthur John Lockhart / [Pastor Felix]"), 2pp, 8vo, on printed letterhead reading "The Autograph Collection of Howes Norris, Jr.", n.p., n.d. 6 stanzas of verse (commencing with a rudimentary hand-drawn colored decorative first letter), which begin: "Then Springtime made / The world anew: / The sky had such a match-less blue! / The rose had such a glorious hue! . The lilies sprung . With such a heavenly grave to view, / When we were young! // Dear grows the past, as Time outrolls! / To all our retrospective souls. . . ." Remains of cellophane mounting hinges on blank verso; perhaps a trifle-toned; near-fine.

Arthur John Lockhart (1850-1926); Canadian clergyman and author who wrote under the pseudonym of "Pastor Felix." (Item ID: 19822)
