Autograph letter signed, 3pp, 8vo, on embossed decorated letterhead of The Players, Sixteen Gramercy Park, 29 November 1929, with original holograph mailing envelope (a bit soiled and worn). To G. Conklin of Brooklyn, replying: ". . . I have almost forgotten my 'moth' which was really printed in story form to copyright The Pantomime Dance for which it was originally designed. I should have to look it over before deciding about your re-publishing it but my only copy is inaccessible for the moment. . . ." Top edges rough with numerous small holes (possibly from having been sewn into an album and removed?); light soiling; else good.
