2 autograph letters signed ("J. Storey"), 5pp, 8vo, on printed letterheads of the Reform Club (one with emblem), 28 March and 24 April 1890. To Mr. Wood, arranging to meet concerning an unspecified project: "[28 March] . . . I purport looking in at yr studio in the afternoon of Monday next. . . . Mr Paley & I were down at South Kensington yesterday seeing about fittings, models &c -- & we intended to have paid you a visit. . . . I am very glad you have succeeded at Parrow[?]."; and "[24 April] Will you kindly write to Mr Partington -- 1st as to weight by passenger train -- for I fear the marble will be over 50 cut[?] -- & yet it seems desirable. . . ." Remains of prior mounting; some light soiling and toning; else good.
